farewell, xanga

wow...xanga has really changed in the year and a half since i've been active on it...anyway, in the interest of closure, i'm just saying goodbye...i'm thankful for the opportunity to record the (many) events of the last several years but i've moved on to blogspot.  (matt says i get bored easily, i guess it's true)

for anyone who's interested, i can be found at http://www.teamjousma.blogspot.com/

and i'll still read those xanga blogs that i've subscribed to...

blessings!

SUMMERTIME

So.  I'm back.  Seattle was wonderful.  Matt and I fell in love with the Olympic Peninsula--it's gorgeous!  It was good to visit with friends and family.

That was already so long ago!  Summer is just flying by.  We finally got internet at home (albeit slow as molasses dial up) and so I'm able to post a bit now.  We've been having a good summer.  A few trips to the beach, some great times with friends around a fire on cool summer nights, grilling out, meeting new neighbors, spending lots of time watching L. grow and learn about the world around her...And now we can fully enjoy summer because...we gave in and finally got A/C!  (Have I mentioned that it has also been an extremely expensive summer??)

Our digital camera broke down.  But the good thing is that we had the 4 year Best Buy warranty (I highly recommend it) and so now we get a replacement for free!  We are hopefully going to pick it out tonight and maybe some new picture postings will follow.

My next project:  the kitchen backsplash.  (One year later.  I didn't feel like doing it while pregnant)

By the way, positive psychology is changing my life. I think it's what I want to do when I grow up. :)
